Teaching a Java Class

This all started when J.D. Baker emailed the entire study group if there was anyone that wanted to substitute for him while he was out of town on a job interview. I thought this might be my best opportunity to see if I like teaching a class. So, that day I emailed him back to say I could substitute in for the Java class. Taking this task on also when with my philosophy that one must keep pushing themselves into situations that make them uncomfortable, and teaching makes me uncomfortable.

Two days later I got an email saying that he would want me to substitute for him on Oct 13. I met with J.D. and we discussed the class and what I would be doing. The class has 10 people in it and runs for 3 hours from 1800 to 2100. This would be the forth class session and the topic would be Streams and File I/O and Serialization.
